An Oasis in the middle of the desert
Look at the images we took in Elim, during our extraordinary trip to Mount Sinai
”Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.” Exodus 15.27
When we subject our reasoning to someone’s thinking, we steer the helm of our life’s ‘boat’ in the same direction of that someone’s life. If they walk blindly in this world, we will be following them towards the same destination.
n the desert, there are also refreshing moments. Elim was an oasis with springs and palm trees where the people reinvigorated their strength to continue their journey. This shows that in the midst of pain, the Holy Spirit provides grace and encouragement so that we may continue bearing fruits for Him. (ACF Bible, comments by Bishop Macedo)
