Be a blessing

Did you know that God doesn’t just want to give you one blessing?

He wants you to be a blessing, just as He did with Abraham.

…you shall be a blessing. Genesis 12.2

When a person is a blessing, everything he does works out; he becomes light. Have you noticed that the light does not curve around objects or travel in a circle? Light travels in a straight line. This is why the first thing God created during Creation was the light.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1.3

So when you are a blessing, you are light. Wherever you are, you illuminate, because peace, joy, and blessings come along with you.

God is looking for people, including those who’ve suffered the most, are lost, misguided, and troubled to turn them to light. He wants to turn them into a blessing so that the world can see He, the Almighty, is great and acknowledge His existence in this new creation.

But the reality is that though many say they want to be this blessing, not everyone wants to pay the price. Not everyone truly wants to do the will of God.

People want to do their own will, and follow the desires of their heart, but they do not want to listen to the Voice of God through His Word. This is why they suffer.

However, God continues to seek these people. But He does not force Himself into someone’s life. He does not break down the door to go in! No. God is polite, He is respectful, He does not go against our will. Therefore, you have to allow Him to come into your life.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3.20

Have you ever imagined Jesus inside of you?

Peace, joy, and blessings will fill your entire life!

For this to happen, you must surrender your will, your desires and your dreams for the sake of the Lord Jesus. By doing so, you will be honoring God. To honor God is to prioritize Him in your life.

This solely depends on you! You don’t have to pay, you don’t have to get in line, you don’t have to take a theology course.

When you honor God with your life, with your intelligent faith, He also honors you with the descent of the Holy Spirit, this is, He makes you a blessing.

…For those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2.30
