I Never Knew You…

The Lord Jesus was against those who…

    • It is written:

“…If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

In other words, when God is with you, no one can destroy you.

In fact, God said to Joshua:

“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life…” (Joshua 1:5)

But what happens when God has something against one of His servants? Can that servant expect to be honored by Him?

These words were directed to pastors, to ministers on the altar:

“Therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God: ‘Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.’” (Ezekiel 34:9-10)

Though they prophesied, cast out demons and worked wonders in His Name, the Lord Jesus was AGAINST those who were not completely devoted to Him. In fact, He told them:

“I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matthew 7:23)

Each one of us needs to examine ourselves with sincerity and fear.
